2008年日食、月食日期以及2月7日開始的神變月功德介紹

2月5日是華嚴菩薩聖誕，

2月7日是大年初一也是彌勒菩薩聖誕，同時也是神變月第一天，那一天還會發生日環食。

2月10日是晉美彭措法王聖誕，

2月12日是定光佛聖誕。

2月20日為密勒日巴尊者圓寂日，

2月21日是月全食。

2月27日為蔣揚欽哲旺波仁波切圓寂日。

今年神變月期間有兩次日月食，依照佛教密續，這是最好的修行時機，在此期間的任何善業惡業將會呈億萬倍增上，西曆二月七日是是日環食，二月二十一是月全食。

2008年的另外兩次日月食分別是八月一日和八月十七日。

2008年日食、月食具體時間如下：

2月7日日環食，15：53食始，21：21食終。
2月21日月全食，9：42初虧，13：08複圓。
8月1日日全食，18：43初虧，19：04食終。
8月17日月偏食，2：23食始，7：57食終。

從大年初一起的一個月為神變月

所謂神變月也就是吾等本師釋迦牟尼佛降伏外道六本師、大力顯揚佛法聖教的殊妙吉祥佳日，眾多佛教經論中都曾提到過神變月的殊勝功德，在此期間（尤其是在上弦月內），每做一件善事，其功德都會比平日行相同善法所得功德增上億倍。因此，若能在神變月期間精勤行善，不僅功不唐捐，更可借此機會迅猛地消除宿業、培植福報資糧。在此期間多做放生以及供燈事業或其他善事將非常殊勝。行惡也加倍哦。

香港世界宣明會撥款增加至港幣200萬元，而宣明會救援隊伍亦已抵達重災區湖南、廣西、安徽及江西向當地災民派發40,000張棉被，以解他們燃眉之急。同時，宣明會亦計劃在貴州、陝西、廣西及江西等地協助災民重建民房和復耕，讓他們重拾生計。

ABC News: All Ice Gone from Arctic Ocean in Four More Years

An already relentless melting of the Arctic greatly accelerated this summer, a warning sign that some scientists worry could mean global warming has passed an ominous tipping point. One even speculated that summer sea ice would be gone in five years.

Greenland's ice sheet melted nearly 19 billion tons more than the previous high mark, and the volume of Arctic sea ice at summer's end was half what it was just four years earlier, according to new NASA satellite data obtained by The Associated Press.

"The Arctic is screaming," said Mark Serreze, senior scientist at the government's snow and ice data center in Boulder, Colo.

Just last year, two top scientists surprised their colleagues by projecting that the Arctic sea ice was melting so rapidly that it could disappear entirely by the summer of 2040.

This week, after reviewing his own new data, NASA climate scientist Jay Zwally said: "At this rate, the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free at the end of summer by 2012, much faster than previous predictions."

地球大合唱 1987

在 you tube看見這首地球大合唱, 曲詞俱絕佳, 唱的更是絕配. 這晚來來回回看了很多次, 每次都認出不同的歌星, 羅文, 張國榮, 徐小鳳, 許冠傑, 葉麗儀, 看看現在已為人父的張學友, 那時和呂方一起都是年青伙子, 陳百強認真嚴謹地唱, 黃耀明站在後排, 還有小妹妹模樣的陳慧嫻, 陳松伶, 劉美君, 令人唏噓的張國榮, 還有還有....

不知當年是為什麼有這一首經典的歌曲呢, 沒有多少印象了, 幸好有互聯網, 在 wiki 找到了下面的資料 :

《地球大合唱》是一首香港無線電視為慶祝20週年（面世時間為1987年 7月初），動用全個電視台的歌手，而特別製作的慈善籌款歌曲，發行的唱片公司名為「黑白唱片有限公司」。

這首歌一度因為絕版而瀕臨失傳，但因為短片網站YouTube，這首歌的真跡才得以重現。幕後的資料如下：

全首歌的佈局有如一部小說，有所謂「起承轉合」，每一位歌手因應他們聲線的特性和風格（更重要的是他們當時在電視台的「地位」），編排出場的先後次序，有一部份「地位」較高的歌手，每人也有兩句獨唱的歌詞；其餘的一半，就只能參與「合」的部份，即最後的大合唱。

從"溫暖人間" 得知, 西貢白沙灣大涌口 佛光寺 經數十年的風雨侵蝕, 除瓦頂出現滲漏, 政府勘察危險斜坡時, 發現寺內四周圍牆, 欄杆, 護土牆, 多處出現崩裂, 隨時有倒塌陷危機, 遂頒令修葺. 而全部工程費龐大, 遠超過寺方負擔能力, 現展開眾願維修佛光寺 , 祈願十方信眾, 同來護持.

第一期修葺工程已於2007年10月展開, 預計2008年中完成.
